Drawn to historical fiction

Do you find yourself drawn to historical fiction? If so, is there a particular place or time period you find yourself visiting often?

I like a lot of different historical fiction, but I'm particularly drawn to the early 20th century. There is something fascinating to me about the lives of people just a couple generations away -- close enough that I could know them, but distant enough that it still a little exotic.
